TAMU Accelerator Laboratory

NSUF

The Accelerator Laboratory at Texas A&M University is a NSUF facility which has contributed to many NSUF projects. Utilizing NSUF as a platform, the laboratory has made a significant impact on the community and the field of nuclear materials development. The NSUF stands for the “Nuclear Science User Facilities,” which is a program managed by the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). NSUF provides researchers from across the United States access to INL’s unique nuclear research facilities, expertise, and capabilities to conduct experiments related to nuclear science and engineering.

Through NSUF, the US Department of Energy has awarded beam time at the Texas A&M University Accelerator Laboratory to the following user projects since 2018.
